Amanda Larson
Amanda Larson is an accomplished branding and communications strategist with more than 20 years of experience telling the stories that connect people, organizations, and communities. She understands the art of creating narratives, the strategy of driving impactful campaigns, and the importance of building honest and transparent relationships. With a unique blend of expertise in digital communication strategy, brand development, and nonprofit leadership, Amanda has made a lasting impact in people’s lives across a spectrum of industries and organizations.
As Chief Communications Officer for one of the nation’s leading mass tort and environmental law firms, Amanda spearheaded communications initiatives aimed toward more than 105,000 clients for a law firm that secured over $4 billion in settlements and judgments. Her innovative strategies and data-driven approach established her as a trusted advisor in high-stakes environments. Prior to this, Amanda played a pivotal role in growing Images Arizona magazine from a single publication into five thriving editions, cultivating a recognizable brand and connecting readers with the inspiring stories of their communities.
In addition to her corporate success, Amanda’s commitment to social impact shines through her work as the founder of Compassionate Journeys, a nonprofit organization in Ghana. Under her leadership, the nonprofit built critical infrastructure, including a library, computer learning center, and clean water initiatives, while empowering over 400 children to access secondary education. Her advocacy and efforts earned her the lifetime title of Queen Mother Mama Mewordekpor II, a testament to her dedication to transformative change. Amanda’s influence extends further on the global stage, where she serves as a trustee for Hope for Ukraine, an A+ rated nonprofit providing life-saving support to war-torn communities.
Her many nonprofit and writing contributions have earned her multiple accolades, including the MASK Unity Award for human trafficking advocacy and nine journalism awards from the Arizona Newspapers Association.
A graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Amanda also holds a certificate in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management. Known for her strategic thinking, creativity, and ability to inspire teams, Amanda is driven by a passion for storytelling that creates real-world impact.
When she’s not crafting campaigns or building nonprofits, Amanda enjoys adventure and connection. She has trekked some of the world’s most formidable mountains in Nepal and the Italian Alps, met the Dalai Lama in India, and bicycled across the United States to raise awareness about human trafficking. No adventure is too large, and no challenge too difficult.
