Paul Hamaty, MBA

PAUL HAMATY is the CEO of RAND Strategic Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm that builds capacity for businesses and nonprofits so they may achieve their full potential and thrive in a constantly changing environment.

Paul utilizes a collaborative approach to inspire and challenge his clients, asking probing questions and listening to what is not said in order to identify the root cause of the challenges they face. He then crafts executable strategies that solve these problems. Paul’s value proposition is that he strongly believes that the integration of strategic planning and risk management is fundamental to his client’s success. In his experience, many organizations focus on strategy but fail to ask “What will prevent my organization from accomplishing its goals and objectives?” The answer, of course, is the risks and challenges faced by the organization.

With over 30 years’ experience, Paul’s clients have included non-profit organizations, small businesses, start-ups, financial institutions, individuals, and the public sector. He has consulted in disciplines such as faith-based healing, mental health, family services, the performing and fine arts, as well as product and promotional branding, banking, digital marketing, and health and wellness products.

Most recently, Paul is focusing his efforts on nonprofit organizations in order to integrate business best practices within that sector. He has developed strategic plans for many nonprofits in south Florida, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach & Martin Counties, MartinArts, The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, The Police Athletic League of West Palm Beach, and Nonprofits First. He is routinely asked to teach classes on strategic planning and operations management at the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, and routinely facilitates strategic planning and board development retreats for nonprofits.

As Corporate Strategist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Paul led the project to integrate the planning and enterprise risk management functions. In the initial six weeks, he delivered an executable strategic roadmap to the executive leadership team and developed a risk mitigation plan in the following three months. As Financial Management Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Paul launched the division’s strategic planning and business process improvement functions to develop short- and long-range plans.

Paul earned an MBA in International Business from Georgia State University and a Lean Six Sigma Executive Greenbelt from BMGI.

Jean Hartmann, PhD

Jean Hartmann, PhD is an integrative practitioner of three approaches to collaboration with others: attending to the social whole of any interactional dynamics, not only to patterned behaviors from trigger events (Schein’s process consulting); space-holding for reflection and inquiry, not in judgment, with others (Cooperrider’s appreciative inquiry); and presencing the self in relation to, not separated from, our humanity (Scharmer’s theory U).

Be it working with individuals or teams, Jean brings coherence and harmony with humor and humility to the workplace and to the place of human hearts. She designs and facilitates awareness-based experiential learning, not only in the context of organization development (OD) intervention work, but also experimental labs in developmental communities.
For Jean, the joys of work and play come from integrating awareness practices in her daily interactions with diverse peoples and systems across the globe. Jean has been self-employed as an interdependent consultant approaching 25 years. In the first decade, she was data/process-driven, managing information systems (IS) deliverables in corporate team settings leveraging project management and business analytics. In the second decade, following the completion of her MBA at Henley Management College in the UK, she transitioned into helping/service work with social entrepreneurs and organizational leaders of small businesses and local nonprofits, emphasizing strategic thinking and operational effectiveness. In 2017, with the completion of her PhD in organizational leadership at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in the US, another work shift occurred where Jean’s collaboration with others now builds collective capacity for higher consciousness and connective energies.

Jean also works with visual developmental sculpting which uses imagery to enliven the relational seeing of person-situational stuckness.
